The Constantine Township Library has another busy month planned for local kids and adults!
Discovering Michigan's Covered Bridges
Thursday, April 23rd - 6 p.m.
The Constantine Township Library welcomes Dianna Stampfler, a longtime Michigan storyteller who has spent more than three decades researching, writing about, and sharing our history and heritage. Since 1997 she's been sharing engaging programs on lighthouses, covered bridges, Carnegie libraries, and other distinctive pieces of Michigan's past. She'll explore thy early bridge builders chose to roof these structures, how a small number of bridges appeared across the rural landscape between the mid-1860's and 1880's and what has happened to them over time. This event is free to the public.
